Onsite Support Engineer – Almelo (ZZP/Freelance)

Function: Onsite Support Engineer - Almelo (ZZP/Freelance)

Location: Almelo (full time on-site)

Languages: Dutch & English ( good to have)

Hourly rate: €45 - €48 (depending on experience)

Start: As soon as possible, long term assignment


The Onsite Engineers primary objective is the support the introduced DWP Windows 11.

 Key Responsibilities:

  • Support Local Site Support (LSS) with the provisioning (build) of the Windows 11 devices through autopilot.
  • Visit on daily bases the End User offices and locations and assess if the End Users face issues with their productivity tools m365, Windows11 and Teams. The Onsite Engineers visit locations where LSS is allowed.
  • Log questions and support requests in ServiceNow.
  • Report back to end users on the status of questions and support requests that cannot be resolved instantly (provide regular update).
  • Support the End User at their desk with issues if a solution is available or at a later stage if a solution becomes available.
  • Attend daily standup with the manager, DWP project team and LSS team to review the incidents, incident status, incident resolution and discuss if the operational process requires adaptation.
  • Only be available during regular business hours: 08:30 – 17:00 CET / BST / MT.

Requirements:

  • Dutch nationality and no dual passport.
  • Strong experience in Windows OS deployment and support.
  • Familiarity with M365, Windows 11, and Teams.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Onsite fully
  • Should be open to go via AIVD screening process ( usually takes 6 to 8 weeks)
  • Fluent in Dutch & English ( good to have )
