Onsite Engineer (with Growth Path to Team Lead) – Gronau, Germany

The Role

We are looking for a motivated Onsite Engineer who is eager to grow into a Team Lead position over time. This role is based in Gronau (Germany) and requires strong technical expertise combined with leadership potential.

You will be responsible for providing on-site IT support, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations, and resolving technical issues efficiently. At the same time, you will be encouraged to take initiative, develop leadership skills, and contribute to team development.


Your Responsibilities

  • Provide on-site support for Windows 10 and Office 365 environments
  • Manage and maintain workstations and end-user devices
  • Troubleshoot hardware and software issues efficiently
  • Support smartphone installations and configurations
  • Handle printers and basic network-related issues
  • Work with helpdesk tools to track and resolve incidents
  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and service quality

Requirements

  • MBO 4+ working and thinking level (or equivalent)
  • Proven experience in on-site IT support (Microsoft environments)
  • Valid MD-100 certification
  • Experience with mobile device setup and configuration
  • Basic knowledge of networking and printers
  • Experience with IT service management / helpdesk tools
  • Excellent command of German (Fluent), Dutch (Basic) and English (fluent)
  • Valid driving license

Additional Requirements (Mandatory)

Due to the sensitive nature of the work environment:

  • Willingness to undergo an AIVD security screening (approx. 6–8 weeks)
  • Must hold Dutch or German or Dutch nationality, No dual nationality permitted
