A leading international non-food retail organization is launching one of the most ambitious HR Services (HRS) transformations in Europe. With a strong and growing presence across more than a dozen countries, this organization is redesigning its HR operations from the ground up — processes, systems, governance, and structure.


To prepare for this transformation, we are building a strategic network of senior HR professionals — individuals with the expertise and leadership to deliver measurable impact across complex, global environments.


Candidate Profile – What We’re Looking For

We’re seeking senior professionals with the following qualifications:


Core Experience

  • 10+ years in HR transformation, shared services, or payroll operations
  • Proven leadership of complex, multi-country change programs
  • Experience with budgets exceeding €20M+

Functional Expertise

  • Deep knowledge of HR operating models, payroll, and employee lifecycle processes
  • Strong command of digital tools including SuccessFactors, Workday, ServiceNow, or similar
  • Familiarity with data governance, GDPR, SOX, and internal control frameworks

Leadership & Engagement

  • Comfortable operating at C-level, building trust with executive stakeholders
  • Strategic thinker with a hands-on approach to delivery
  • Experience in high-volume, high-growth industries such as retail, FMCG, consulting, or technology

Language & Availability

  • Fluent in English (Dutch or other European languages are a plus)
  • Willing and able to work at least 2–3 days per week on-site in North Holland

Location & Flexibility

  • Open to candidates based in the Netherlands, Belgium, Germany, France, Nordics, or the UK
  • Hybrid engagement preferred (remote + regular on-site collaboration)


Current Priority Role: HRS Transformation Lead

We are currently prioritizing an experienced HR Services Transformation Lead to guide a multi-year transition of the HR Services operating model. This role involves strategic design, execution oversight, and stakeholder engagement across HR, IT, and the business.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the digital transformation of HR Services, including implementation of SuccessFactors EC, ServiceNow, and global payroll tools.
  • Design and implement a scalable, data-driven HR operating model across multiple countries.
  • Drive automation, process simplification, and employee experience enhancements across the employee lifecycle.
  • Manage a multi-million euro transformation roadmap, including business case development, governance, KPI reporting, and benefit tracking.
  • Align HR operations with compliance, security, and service delivery best practices.
