This is the role
As a System Administrator, you will manage and optimize the GreenLake Secured Private Cloud environment to ensure peak performance and availability. Working collaboratively with technical teams, you will oversee system monitoring, handle change requests, resolve incidents, and provide proactive recommendations to improve infrastructure availability. With a focus on operational excellence, you will deliver scheduled availability reporting and ensure seamless coordination of infrastructure changes through structured processes.

Activities:
- Monitor the operational status of systems.
- Handle change requests.
- Resolve incidents and coordinate with technical engineers as needed.
- Report status updates.
Key Responsibilities:
- Define and manage GreenLake Secured Private Cloud Availability requirements.
- Provide standard Availability reporting to the customer on a scheduled basis.
- Recommend and implement changes to improve GreenLake PCE Availability.
- Manage infrastructure changes and additional resources via the Project/Scope Change Management Process.
- Update GreenLake Secured Private Cloud Availability requirements.
Who You Are
You are a technical expert with a passion for infrastructure management and the ability to thrive under pressure. Your deep knowledge of VMware technologies and strong analytical skills enable you to resolve complex technical challenges efficiently.
Skills Required:
- Expertise in VMware vSphere, including vCenter Server Appliance, ESXi, and VMware vCha.
- Knowledge of VMware Metro Storage Cluster validated PCE design, Alletra 9000 storage replication, and VCloud Foundation (VCF).
- Familiarity with VMware NSX-T network virtualization and configuration in a Multisite Metro Storage Cluster, including VSAN.
- Proficiency with OneView and Control Plane management.
Education and Experience:
- 3–5 years of technical experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
Soft Skills:
- Clear communication in Dutch and English (both mandatory).
- Ability to handle confidential data and work effectively in a team.
- Capable of working under stress and flexible with shift work (24x7 after 6 months, full onsite).
- Strong analytical skills and eagerness to learn.
